Highclere Castle, the site for the series Downton Abbey, was a country estate built in 1679 for the Earls of Camarvon. The estate covers 5000 acres (2000ha) and is located just south of Newbury, Berkshire. Besides its relationship to movies, an Egyptian Museum was established on the estate as they were supporters of the team that discovered Tutankhamen's tomb. There are many different features such as a deer park, tea garden, and other amenities.
